I got the news and I don't want to be Cosette. It's just too wrong. I'M JEAN. I TRIED OUT FOR JEAN. WHY MUST I BE CAST AS COSETTE?

I really wish my parents would let me out more. I mean, I get to school and church and volunteering or they let me go out with Mikhail but IT'S NOT THE SAME. Other kids my age can go to the mall and stuff but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I can't go out or do anything really because they'll freak out about everything under the sun. Not fair.
And the local theater group is doing the Jr. version of Les Miz. Guess they forgot my school did it last year.
I want to try out for Jean Valjean again, but I bet they'll say I can't. Because of being a stupid GIRL.

Hiya everyone!
I’m super, super, super duper excited to be here. Like, I bet you guys have no idea except maybe Thomas (HI THOMAS. YOU BETTER RESPOND TO THIS.) but that’s because he’s my caretaker. I mean, of you guys. Obviously my parents and Jean know but they’re all kind of telling me to get this over with already and Jean’s asking me to calm down, but I can’t help it. This is like the coolest day ever and I’m just typing this up!
I’m Maddie. Maddie Bishop actually. I’m from Chicago, but my parents don’t want me to say where exactly because of privacy? Jean says it’s good form and he’s good about that stuff. Anyhow, I’m thirteen and this is my first time on these things! My parents wouldn’t let me on before. So, really, this is like my first time talking to other reincarnates which is SO COOL I want to know who everyone has, because everyone I know (which is…me…and Thomas…) has really cool people.
You ready for it? He’s – well, he’s thinking I’m being over-dramatic about it, which is ridiculous as I’m not on stage. But anyway he’s Jean Valjean, from the awesome Victor Hugo’s even more awesome Les Misérables.
You can be jealous. It’s okay. Even if he’s hissing at me, he knows he’s awesome. I mean, I know it and I’ve had him since I was five!
